Shared Boat Ownership, Made Simple.

At Tasman Marine, we make it easy to own a premium vessel without the hassle of full-time maintenance or cost. Our professionally managed boat syndicates give you guaranteed time on the water — with everything taken care of. It’s smarter, easier, and built for the way Kiwis actually use their boats.

How it works

Purchase a 1/12 share

Each member holds a 1/12 share in the company that owns the vessel, providing them with exclusive usage rights. Our model is capped at 12 participants per boat, ensuring plenty of time on the water.

Pay a simple monthly fee

A fixed monthly fee covers all operating costs – including cleaning, servicing, insurance, and admin – so everything’s taken care of.

Get an allocation of booking days

Each share gives you peak and off-peak tokens with unlimited standby days. So you get to enjoy plenty of days at sea.

Turn-up, and motor away.

Turn up to a clean vessel, full fuel tanks, and everything you need, ready for a day on the water.

Expert Maintenance

We handle all maintenance bookings with expert maintenance providers, this includes scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and upgrades.

Professional Training

With access to our in-house training team, we can assist you in learning to be a competent and safe skipper at sea. We also require all our owners to have completed a coastgaurd day-skipper course.

All the benefits

“With Tasman Marine, you get the full experience of accessing a well-maintained, modern vessel — without the high individual costs of traditional ownership. Expenses are shared across members through a usage-based syndicate, making it low-cost and stress-free.
